Our approach to sustainability is based on three pillars, which distinguishes between environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainable development. We sourced every single products according to very specific sustainability criteria : environmental responsibility, social responsibility and respect to animals. By doing so, we want to help you celebrate life, fight climate change, and empower other individuals and communities while having fun on your next adventure. To know more about our sustainability criterion and our positive impact, click here.
So far, sustainability criteria is not a clearly defined concept : it can mean literally anything. It has been defined differently by so many companies. Ever heard of green washing? It's when a company is deceptively promoting the perception that their products are responsible or ethical. This phenomenon is more and more common. How can you be sure that what you're buying is really ethical? The Nomad Traveler project is a stand against such practice and advocate for "better" sustainability in the travel community. As travelers ourselves, we know the positive impact travel can have on the world and its people when done right, starting with the stuff we pack. So we're committed to do sustainability right by being super strict with the products we carry and the organisations we promote. In fact, the whole meaning of this project is about ethics, responsibility, consciousness, sustainability, empowerment and happiness for all. As a micro business, we're not perfect, we're still learning, but we can guarantee you that we will do our best to make the most ethical and responsible travel products and resources that exist available to you on this platform. We want to show that you don't need to wander internet forever to find conscious travel products and resources. We aim to become the reference on the market of sustainable travel products and inspire a growing community of travelers to experience adventuring in a conscious and responsible way, for the betterment of our planet and its people. The word PACK means two things : 1. To fill a bag with objects, to be carried on a person's back when traveling. 2. A circle of people with a common purpose that works much like a family. As for the word IMPACT, it is also defined two ways : 1.Having a strong effect on someone or something. 2.The action of someone coming into contact with another. Pack for impact is above all an invitation to the travel community to come together to do good for the world, starting with the basics: the packing list. We want to revisit the essentials, what's at the beginning of every adventure: packing up to create a better future. To know more about us, click here.

Nomad Traveler supports refugees and internally displaced people by giving them the financial means to rebuild stable lives. Why? Because we strongly believe that travelers who have the privilege to roam free should support the ones who are forced to flee. The world is having a refugee crisis unlike anything we've seen before, and we simply can't ignore that. To know more about it, click here.
Nomad Traveler supports non-profit organisations that plants ten trees for every given dollars in critical areas where deforestation occurs at abnormal speed. We aim to offset our carbon footprint doing so and to restore the beauty of nature we all wander for. To know more, click here.
